Ida was born about 1046.  Ida's father was Bernard II Saxony and her mother is Elica von Schweinfurt.  Her paternal grandparents were Bernard I Saxony and Hildegarde Stade; her maternal grandfather is Henry von Schweinfurt. She had a sister named Princess OfSaxony.  She was the younger of the two children. She had a half-sister named Gertrud Princess of.  She died on July 31st, 1102.
