Adeliza (Alice) was born about 1058 in Northamptonshire, England.1   Adeliza (Alice)'s father was Hugh de Clermont Ct de Clermont and her mother was Marguerite de Montdidier.  Her paternal grandparents were Renaud  I Count De Clermont and Emmengardis De Clermont; her maternal grandparents were Hildwin IV Count of Montidier & Lord of Rouci and Alice Alix Countess de Roucy. She had a brother and two sisters, named Renaud II Count , Crusader, Ermentrude and Richilde.  She died after 1117 in England.1 


Adeliza (Alice)'s first family with Gilbert  2nd Earl De Clare

‌Adeliza (Alice) and Gilbert  2nd Earl were married in a religious ceremony in 1076 in England.1   They had five sons and five daughters, named Richard, Baldwin Fitz Gilbert, Gilbert FitzRichard Earl Of Pembroke, Hervey, Walter, Alice Adeliza, Agnes "The Proud", Margaret, Rohese  (Rose) and Rohesa.
