Joseph Whitney 
Joseph was born in 1678 in Norwalk, Connecticut. Joseph's father was John Whitney and his mother is Elizabeth Smith. His paternal grandfather is Henry Whitney; his maternal grandfather is Richard Smith. He was an only child. He died at the age of 63 in 1741.General Notes
