Count in the Upper Isar; an ally of Henry 'the Wrangler,' of Bavariaagainst Otto II. He administered the countship of his brother, Luitpold,on the Upper Isar and, in 955, was in alliance with the Hungarians to aidHenry 'the Wrangler.' [Royalty for Commoners, 3rd ed., R. W.
