His paternal grandparents were Richard Talbot Baron of Eccleswell and Sarah Beauchamp; his maternal grandparents were William Boteler 1 L boteler and Angharad (Ankaret) Griffith. He had two sisters named Joan and eleanor. He was the oldest of the three children. He died on October 23rd, 1356.-
