Deacon Simon Stone was baptized on 9 February 1585/86 at Much Bromley, Essex, England. He was the son of David Stone and Ursula (?). On 5 August 1616 at England, Simon married Joan Clark, daughter of William Clark and Margaret Hadlock. Deacon Simon Stone and Joan Clark emigrated in 1635 from London, England.1 About 1654 Simon married Sarah Warner, daughter of Samuel Warner. Deacon Simon Stone left a will on 7 September 1665. He died on Tuesday, 22 September 1665 at Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, at age 79 years, 7 months and 13 days. His estate was probated on 3 October 1665.2
