Cacht Ingen Loigsig of Leix was born about 1082 in Ireland.1 Cacht Ingen Loigsig of Leix's father was Loigsech O'Morda King of Loigsi and her mother was Gormflaith ingen Finn O'Caellaide. Her paternal grandfather was Amargen O'Morda King of Loigsi and her paternal grandmother is Gormflaith O'Néill; her maternal grandfather is King of Osraige Finn O'Caellaide. She was an only child. She died about 1149.1 
Cacht Ingen Loigsig of Leix and King of Ui Muiredaig were married in a religious ceremony.1 They had a daughter named Mor.
