John Newlin 
John was born on September 1st, 1783 in Chatham Co, Nc.1 John's father was Eli Newlin and his mother was Sarah Hadley. His maternal grandparents were Joshua Hadley and Ruth Lindley. He had a brother and three sisters, named Joshua, Ruth, Edith and Mary. He was the third oldest of the five children. He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Jeremiah, Jonathan, David and Sarah. He died at the age of 48 on May 28th, 1832 in Clinton Co, Ohio. He was buried in Clinton Co, Oh.1 1 -
