Sir John Marshall Baron 
John was born in 1144 in of Pembroke, Pembrokeshire, Wales.1 John's father was John (1St Baron) Marshall and his mother was Sibyl Devereux. His paternal grandparents were Gilbert FitzRobert Marshall and Miss De Venus; his maternal grandparents were Walter d'Evereux Salisbury Sheriff of Wiltshire and Sibyl De Chaworth. He had three brothers and two sisters, named William, Anselm de, Henry, Maud and Margaret. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 50 in 1194 in England.1 General Notes
