Ruth Hadley

Ruth was born on May 11th, 1770 in Guilford County, North Carolina.¹ Ruth's father was Simon Hadley and her mother was Bridget Foote. Her paternal grandparents were Joshua Hadley and Patience Brown; her maternal grandfather was John Foote and her maternal grandmother is Anne Hawkesworth. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Simon, Ann, Patience, Margaret and Rachel. She was the second youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 82 on May 18th, 1852 in Yadkin County, North Carolina.¹
