Eilika of Schweinfort was born in 1005 in Schweinfurt,Unterfranken,Bavaria. Eilika of Schweinfort's father was Henry Margrave of Nordgau and her mother is Gerberga of Swabia. Her paternal grandparents were Berthold I Margrave of the Nordgau and Eiliswintha von Walbeck. She had a sister named Judith of Schweinfurt. She was the older of the two children.
