William Drake 
William was born about 1730. William's father was Benjamin Drake and his mother was Mary Runyon. His paternal grandparents were Rev. John Drake and Rebecca Trotter; his maternal grandparents were Vincent Rognion and Ann Martha Boutcher. He had eight brothers and two sisters, named John, Benjamin, Francis, Zechariah, Edmond, Thomas, Nathanial, Daniel, Rebecca and Rachael. He was the second youngest of the eleven children. He died before April 6th, 1752 in Hopewell, Hunterdon Co., Nj, USA.General Notes

III. WILLIAM, with wife, Susannah, who
was a Farnsworth, (dau. of Henry), were
members of Hopewell Church, 1742,
(GEDNEY, p. 129); he d. 1752, of Hopewell,
laborer, leaving a will dated Mar. 14,
proved Apr. 6, 1752, (ARCH., Vol.
XXXII, p. 98), wife, Susannah, son
William, under age; executors, wife, and
brother, Richard Evans. Witnesses, Benjamin
and Daniel Drake, (certainly brothers).
He was overseer of the Poor, 1742,
(id. p. 21).
