John Doan 
John was born on November 30th, 1732 in Middletown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.1 John's father is Joseph Doan and his mother is Mary Carter. He was an only child. He died at the age of 78 on March 6th, 1811 in Chatham County, North Carolina.1 
John and Ruth were married in a religious ceremony on November 25th, 1756 in Cane Creek Mm, Nc.2 They had a son and a daughter, named Joseph and Hannah.
