His paternal grandparents were David des Mareets Immigrant and Marie Sohier Immigrant?; his maternal grandfather was Simon de Ruyns Immigrant and his maternal grandmother is Magdalena Van Der Straeten. He had a brother and a sister, named David and Maria Jan. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 80 on August 31st, 1763 in Nj.1 -
