Adeliza de was born in 1068 in Clermont, Beauvais, Oise, France.  Adeliza de's father was Hugh I de Creil de Beauvais Count of Clermont and her mother was Margaret de Roucy Montdidier. She had a brother and two sisters, named Renaud II, Count de, Hermentrude Ermengard de and Richilde de Creil.  She was the second youngest of the four children.  She died at the age of 49 in 1117 in England.
