William Le was born in 1373 in Bewsey, Lancashire, England. William Le's father was John Boteler Sir and his mother was Alicia Plumpton. His paternal grandfather was William le Boteler 5 L Boteler and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Argentine; his maternal grandparents were sir William De Plumpton and Christiana Mowbray. He had a brother and two sisters, named John, Elizabeth and Alice. He was the second youngest of the four children. He had a half-sister named margaret. He died at the age of 42 on September 20th, 1415 in seige of harfleur, dysentary.-
