Her paternal grandparents are WILLIAM LAWRENCE and ELIZABETH UNKNOWN; her maternal grandparents are CHARLES BROOKING and NANCY ANN UNKNOWN. She had two brothers and three sisters, named JOHN, MERRYMAN M., SUSANNAH, CYNTHIA BELLE and MARTHA. She is the youngest of the six children.
