WILLIAM BAKER was born on April 18th, 1821 in Sharpsburg,Washington County,Maryland.1 WILLIAM BAKER's father was Josiah Curtis and his mother was Esther Arnsberger. His paternal grandparents were JOHN BAKER Curtis and EALSY WILKINS; his maternal grandparents were Christopher Arnsberger and Catharina Fahrner. He had four brothers and a sister, named George Washington, Jacob Earnsparger, John Henry, Isaiah and Alice. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 70 on August 25th, 1891 in West Liberty,Ohio County,West Virginia.1 General Notes
