Athalia's father is Ahab of Samaria King and her mother is Jezabel of Tyre Princess.  Her paternal grandfather is Amri of Samaria King; her maternal grandfather is Ethbaal of Tyre King.  She is an only child.

They have a son named Ahaziah.
