Ella was born on January 23rd, 1813 in Farmington, Bedford, TN. Ella's father was James WILSON and her mother was Ellender or Eleanor SHELFER. Her paternal grandparents are William WILSON and Nancy GREEN; her maternal grandfather was John SHELFER and her maternal grandmother is Phoebe HUGGINS. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Elijah, Levin, Zachariah Davis, Thomas Green, Nancy, Elizabeth and Sarah. She was the third youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 64 on May 10th, 1877 in Richfield, Sevier, UT. She was buried on May 12th, 1877 in Old Pioneer Cem., Sevier, UT.General Notes
