Matilda Delila Willis

Matilda Delila was born on February 16th, 1819 in Gallatin, Smnr, TN and her baptism took place in Galliton, Simmer, TN.  Matilda Delila's father was John Willis and her mother is Jane KIRKPATRICK. She had two brothers and four sisters, named William Thomas, Daniel, Dorcas, Margaret Jane, Eda and Lucretia.  She was the youngest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 71 on March 25th, 1890 in St. Anthony, Fremont, ID.

‌Matilda Delila and James Lewis were married in a religious ceremony on October 5th, 1837 in Nauvoo, Hncc, IL.
