Martha was born about 1736 in Newberry, York, PA. Martha's father was Henry WILLIS and her mother is Mary. Her paternal grandfather was John WILLIS and her paternal grandmother is Esther BRINTON. She had four brothers and four sisters, named John, Henry, William, Josiah, Betty, Mary, Nancy and Rachel. She is the fifth oldest of the nine children.-
