Luitgarde was born about 1115. Luitgarde's father was Berenger II Of Sulzbach Count and her mother was Adelaide Von Wolfratschausen. Her paternal grandfather was Gebhard II Of Sulzbach Count and her paternal grandmother is Irmgard (Ermengard) Von Rot; her maternal grandfather was Otto II Von Wolfratschausen Count and her maternal grandmother is Adelaide Von Ragensburg. She had a brother and two sisters, named Gebhard III, Adelheid and Luitgard. She was the second oldest of the four children. She died in August 1167 in Rome, , , Italy. She was buried in 1167.-
