John Underwood 
John was born in 1732 in Warrington, Bucks, Pennsylvania. John's father was Alexander UNDERWOOD and his mother was Jane HARRIS. His paternal grandfather was Samuel UNDERWOOD and his paternal grandmother is Mary Ann; his maternal grandfather was Hugh HARRIS and his maternal grandmother is Elizabeth Brinton. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named Samuel, Thomas, William, Joseph, Benjamin, Elihu, Mary, Elizabeth, Ann, Jane, Olive, Mary and Ruth. He was the third youngest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 44 on June 18th, 1776 in Warrington, York, Pennsylvania.-
