Joane was born in 1591 in Bicton, Devon, ENG. Joane's father was Richard UPHAM and her mother was Maria. Her paternal grandparents were John UPHAM and Joane. She had two brothers and seven sisters, named Thomas, John, Sarah, Susannah, Judith, Frances, Sarah, Jane and Judith. She was the oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 77 on November 8th, 1668 in , , New England. She was buried in November 1668.-
