Lott was born on December 26th, 1684 in Portsmouth, Newport, RI. Lott's father was John TRIPP and his mother was Susanna Anthony. His paternal grandparents were John TRIPP and Isabel Moses; his maternal grandparents were John Anthony and Susanna POTTER. He had four brothers and three sisters, named John, Othniel, Benjamin, Othniel, Susanna Anthony, Mary and Lot. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 35 on September 26th, 1720 in Providence, Prov., RI.-
