Edward was born about 1474 in St. Donats, Somerset, England. Edward's father was Thomas STRADLING [SIR] and his mother was Janet MATHEW. He had a brother and two sisters, named Harry, Mary and Jane. He was the oldest of the four children. He died in 1535.
