Her paternal grandparents were John SHELDON and Joan VINCENT; her maternal grandfather was George PALMER and her maternal grandmother is Bethia (Bethiah) MOWRY. She had seven brothers and six sisters, named Ezekiel, John, Edward, Isaac, Joseph, Roger, William, Patience, Deliverance, Elizabeth, Sarah, Mary and Dinah. She is the sixth oldest of the fourteen children.-
