Wheeler was born on July 11th, 1714 in Swansea, Bristol, MA. Wheeler's father was Mial Pierce Dea. and his mother was Joanna OR Judith ROUND. His paternal grandfather was Ephraim Pierce and his paternal grandmother is Mary LOW; his maternal grandfather was John ROUND and his maternal grandmother is Elizabeth. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Ephriam, Nathan, Mial, Job, Caleb, Joshua, Mary and Judith. He is the second oldest of the nine children.-
