John POTTER 
John was born in 1665 in Portsmouth, Newport, Rhode Island. John's father was Ichabod POTTER and his mother was Martha HAZARD. His paternal grandparents were Nathaniel POTTER and Dorothy WILBUR; his maternal grandparents were Thomas HAZARD and Mrs Martha HAZARD. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Robert, Ichabod, Susannah and Sarah. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 63 on June 23rd, 1728 in Kingston, , RI.-
