Taksony was born in 0931 in Szekesfeh, Hungary.  Taksony's father was Zsoltan (Zoltan) Of Hungary Duke and his mother is () Of Bikar Khazard Princess.  His paternal grandfather was Arpad Of The Magyrs; his maternal grandfather is Mariot (Maroth) Of Bikar Khazard Prince.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 41 in 0972.  He was buried in 0972.

‌Taksony and () were married in a religious ceremony in 0947.  They had two sons named Michael and Geza.
