Mathilde was born about 1309 in Oberbayern, , , Bavaria.  Mathilde's father was Louis IV Of Holy Roman Emp Duke and her mother was Beatrycza Of Silesia Gloga.  Her paternal grandparents were Ludwig II Of Bavaria Duke and Matilda Of Habsburg Countess; her maternal grandparents were Henryk I (III) Of Glogau Duke and Mathilde Grubenhagen Of Brunswick Princess. She had a brother and a sister, named Stefan II Landshut and Elizabeth.  She was the oldest of the three children. She had a half-brother named Albert I.  She died on July 3rd, 1346 in Meissen, , Dresden, Saxony.  She was buried in 1346.

‌Mathilde and Frederick II (The Grave) were married in a religious ceremony in May 1323 in Nurnberg, , , Bavaria.  They had two sons and a daughter, named Frederick III, Balthazar and Elizabeth.
