Peleg MUMFORD 
Peleg was born in 1659 in Portsmouth, Newport, Rhode Island. Peleg's father was Thomas MUMFORD and his mother was Sarah SHERMAN. His maternal grandparents were Phillip Philip SHERMAN and Sarah ODDING. He had a brother and four sisters, named Thomas, Anna, Abigail, Sarah and Hannah OR "Annie. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 86 on July 8th, 1745 in So Kingstown, Washington Co, RI.-
