John JACQUES 
John was born on July 19th, 1809 in Aylesford, Kings, N.S.. John's father is Alexander JACQUES and his mother was Mary Jane DURLAND. He had eight brothers named Phineas, Benjamin W., Alexander, William Morten, Charles Wesley, Joseph Nealy, James Hyrum and Thomas. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 59 on October 29th, 1868.
John and Sophia were married in a religious ceremony on October 7th, 1830.
