Caroline was born on August 13th, 1841 in Northampton Par, Carlton, York, N. Brunswick. Caroline's father was Thomas JACQUES and her mother is Sarah FARNSWORTH. Her paternal grandfather is Alexander JACQUES and her paternal grandmother was Mary Jane DURLAND; her maternal grandparents are Daniel FARNSWORTH and Jerusha EARL. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Daniel, George William, Mary Jane, Jerusha Ann and Susan (Susannah) M.. She was the youngest of the six children.
