James HICKS 
James was born in 1716 in Swansea, Bristol, Massachusetts. James' father was Daniel Hix or Hicks and his mother was Sarah EDMONDS. His paternal grandfather was Daniel HICKS and his paternal grandmother is Rebecca HAMMER; his maternal grandfather is Andrew EDMUNDS and his maternal grandmother was Mary HEARNDEN. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Daniel, Joseph, Isaac, Benjamin, Rebecca, Sarah and Hannah. He is the youngest of the eight children.-
