John Griest 
John was born on June 21st, 1716 in Bethel, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. John's father was John GRIEST and his mother was Martha BALDWIN. His paternal grandfather is John GRIEST; his maternal grandfather was Thomas BALDWIN and his maternal grandmother is Mary. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, Willing, Mary, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Susannah, Sarah and Griest. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 63 on May 14th, 1780.-
