Samuel was born on August 31st, 1640 in , Stratford, Fairfield, Connecticut. Samuel's father was Thomas FAIRCHILD and his mother was Faith SEABROOK. His maternal grandparents were Robert SEABROOK and Alice GOODSPEED. He had three brothers and four sisters, named John, Thomas, Zachariah, Sarah, Faith, Dinah and Emma. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 63 on February 28th, 1704 in , Stratford, Fairfield, Connecticut.-
