Irene was born about 1065 in Constantinople, , , Byzantium. Irene's father was Andronicus Dukas and her mother was Marija Of Bulgaria Princess. Her paternal grandparents were John Dukas Caesar and Irene Pergonita; her maternal grandfather is Trajan Of West Bulgaria Tsar. She had a brother and a sister, named Michael and Anna. She was the second oldest of the three children. She died on February 19th, 1133 in A Nun, , Xene. She was buried in February 1133.-
