Elizabeth was born about 1223. Elizabeth's father was William Comyn Of Buchan Earl and her mother was Margaret Of Buchan Countess. Her paternal grandfather was Richard Comyn Of Tynedale Lord and her paternal grandmother is Hextilda Fitzwaldeve; her maternal grandparents were Fergus Of Buchan IV Earl and Margaret (). She had a brother and two sisters, named Alexander Comyn, Margaret and Ideonea. She was the second youngest of the four children. She died in 1267. She was buried in 1267.-
