Martha BROWNELL 
Martha was born on May 24th, 1678 in Portsmouth, Newport, RI. Martha's father was William BROWNELL and her mother was Sarah SMITON. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas BROWNELL and Ann BOURNE; her maternal grandparents were William SMITON and Sarah Lloyd. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Robert, William, Benjamin, SMITON, George, Ann, Sarah, Mary and Alice. She was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 58 on July 6th, 1736 in Prob., Little Compton, RI.-
