Joan de Strickland

Joan was born before 1272. Joan's father was William de Strickland of Sizergh Castle and her mother was Elizabeth de Eincourt. Her paternal grandparents were Robert II de Vaux de Strickland and Daughter de Gellellestone; her maternal grandparents were Ralph II de Eincourt and Alice de Thursby. She had two brothers and a sister, named William II, Walter de Vaux and Alicede. She is the second oldest of the four children.
