John Alexander Wettin 
John Alexander was born on April 6th, 1871. John Alexander's father was Edward VII Saxe-Coburg Wettin of Great Britain and his mother was Alexandra Schleswig Oldenburg of Denmark. His paternal grandparents were Albert Augustus of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha and Victoria Alexandria Hanover of Great Britain; his maternal grandparents were Christian IX Schleswig-Holstein of Denmark and Louise Wilhelmina of Hesse-Cassel. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Albert Victor Christian, George V Windsor of Great, Victoria Alexandra Olga Mary, Louise Victoria Alexandra and Maud Charlotte Mary Victoria. He is the youngest of the six children.-
