Sebastian was born in 1751 in Zionsville, Upper Milford Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. Sebastian's father was Jacob Wentling and his mother was Sarah J. Balzer. His paternal grandparents were Karl Christian Wentling and Anna Maria Zeigler. He was an only child. He died at the age of 90 in 1841 in Clarion County, Pennsylvania.General Notes
