Ruth Van Meter 
Ruth was born in 1775 in Virginia. Ruth's father was Isaac Van Meter and her mother was Ruth Hedges. Her paternal grandfather was Abraham Van Meter. She was an only child. She died at the age of 63 in 1838 in Franklin County, Ohio.
‌Ruth and James were married in a religious ceremony in 1792 in Virginia. They had three sons and a daughter, named John, William, James V. and Elizabeth.

William Ramsey
