Zachary was born on November 24th, 1784 in Montebello farm, Barboursville, Orange County, Virginia. Zachary's father was Richard Taylor and his mother was Sarah Dabney Strother. His paternal grandparents were Zachary Taylor and Elizabeth Lee; his maternal grandparents were William Dabney Strother and Sarah Bayly. He was an only child. He died at the age of 65 on July 9th, 1850 in White House, Washington, DC. He was buried in Louisville, Kentucky.General Notes
