Mary Wade Strother 
Mary Wade was born in 1734. Mary Wade's father was Francis Strother and her mother was Susannah Dabney. Her paternal grandparents were William Jr. Strother and Margaret Thornton; her maternal grandparents were John Dabney and Sarah Jennings. She had six brothers and four sisters, named John Dabney, Anthony, William Dabney, Frances, George, Robert, Margaret, Elizabeth, Behetheland and Susanna. She is the fifth youngest of the eleven children.-
