Gilbert Stapleton

Gilbert was born before 1280.  Gilbert's father was Nicholas de Stapleton and his mother is Margery Basset.  His paternal grandfather was Nicholas de Stapleton; his maternal grandfather was Miles Basset. He had a brother and two sisters, named Miles, Johanna and Emma.  He is the youngest of the four children.
