Eleanor Skidmore 
Eleanor was born on March 15th, 1798 in Elkins, Randolph County, West Virginia. Eleanor's father was Andrew Skidmore and her mother was Margaret Johnson. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Skidmore and Agnes Anne Caldwell; her maternal grandparents were Arthur Johnson and Margaret Phares. She had six brothers and four sisters, named James, Andrew Jr., Joseph, Jesse, John, Benjamin, Nancy, Mary Jane, Sarah and Rebecca. She was the fourth youngest of the eleven children.
