Simon Shaver 
Simon was born in 1825 in Pendleton County, Virginia. Simon's father was Palser Jr. Shaver and his mother was Ann Christina Mitchell. His paternal grandparents were Palser Shaver and UNKNOWN Catherine; his maternal grandfather was John Mitchell. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Alexander M., John, Ephraim, Isabella and Eliza. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 55 on February 18th, 1880 in Pendleton County, Virginia.-
